  Tina Caldeira

  Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist

Tina qualified 'way too long ago' in 1991 from Birmingham University. She is a member of The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and is Registered with Health Care Professions Council.  She is also a member of the Association of Paediatric Chartered Physiotherapists, British Association of Bobath Trained Therapists and Physio First.


Person centred care has always been how she endeavours to support and empower patients and families.  She aims to educate and work with her patients ensuring goals are set which are realistic and achievable and  they  understand how  individualised treatments and patients own programmes.


Tina is experienced in all areas of physiotherapy but is a Clinical Specialist in Paediatrics,  She has extensive experience leading services for management of neurodevelopmental conditions, childrens orthopaedics, qualified in delivering management of 'club foot' using Ponseti management, DDH management, post operative care and rehabilitation of children following head injury.  Tina developed the pathway for follow up of preterm amd at risk infants ensuring appropriate early intervention and support for children and families.  Tina has completed training in Hydrotherapy for children and adults, Hippotherapy and Sensory assessment and Sensory Integration.
